White Water World is the newest theme park to hit the Gold Coast, it is from the makers of Dreamworld and is situated right next door to Dreamworld, just opened about 3 months ago.
This water park is made for the whole family not just the older kids!!!
Water Rides they have are:
The Bro
The Green Room
The Rip
The Temple Of Huey
Cave Of Waves
Nickelodeon Pipline Plunge
Wiggle Water Bay
Super Tubes Hydrocoaster
White Water World is open every day of the year, except Christmas Day and Anzac morning (25 April).
Hours open are 10:30am to 4:30pm every day of the year. Hours may be extended during Summer and frequently in Autumn and Spring, and during school holiday periods.
White Water World has a number of burger joints in the water park plus drink stands and retail shops to buy some souvenirs.
They have a number of facilities from ATM’s to Lockers also a number of services to help you round the water world.
You can also get a day pass or yearly pass for the both worlds Dreamworld and Whitewater World, unlimited access, for usually a great discounted price.
Also medical and cultural information is provided.

One of the reasons so many people do flock to the Gold Coast besides the beaches and warm weather, are for our extensive selection of theme parks/sanctuaries.
Our theme parks and sanctuaries include:
Wet N Wild (www.wetnwild.myfun.com.au)
Sea World (www.seaworld.myfun.com.au)
Movie World (www.movieworld.myfun.com.au)
Dream World (www.dreamworld.com.au)
White Water World (www.whitewaterworld.com.au)
Australian Outback Spectacular (www.outbackspectacular.myfun.com.au)
Paradise Country Aussie Farm Tour (www.paradisecountry.myfun.com.au)
Currumbin Sanctuary (www.currumbin-sanctuary.org.au)
If you are interested in visiting more then one of these places, you may be interested in purchasing a fun pass which gives you one single day entry to Movie World, Wet N Wild and Sea World. This will set you back $142 for adults and $89 for children.
There is also super park pass available which allows unlimited entry to Movie World, Wet N Wild and Sea World for 14 days. The prices are $177 for adults and $115 for children.
You may also find it useful to know that Dream World and White Water World are affiliated so you are able to purchase entry to both starting from $68.00 for children and $102.00 for adults.
I would definitely recommend purchasing tickets online in advance, as unless you enjoy standing around a lot of your morning will be taken up waiting in line. Tickets can be prepurchased from the websites above.

From memory, VT member RobertGaz covers these things far better than I ever would hope to (or want to) but, suffice it to say, if you get bored in Surfers perhaps you should try moving off your sofa.
Yes, it’s a world world alright; Dreamworld, Seaworld, Warner Bros World, Water World and probably many others I’ve failed to mention. Whether you choose to be active or just sit and watch, there’s more entertainment during the day than any other place I know of in Oz.
Somewhat surprisingly, some of these attractions, notably Warner Bros and Dreamworld, are nowhere near the Gold Coast but many kilometres north on the way to Brisbane.
Not to worry, there’ll be some sort of bus travelling by your very door at least once an hour to get you up there. Peoples’ jobs depend on it!
I still have lovely memories when I was a young dad and my eldest son and I decided we were going to go 20 times on the then-relatively-new roller coaster at Seaworld. Those were the days as they say. Not sated, we then went to Dreamworld and I’ll never forget the slow clunk-clunk as the roller coaster slow ascended. First the roof tops, then you could see for kilometres, then you could see all of Surfers, then, was that New Zealand I spotted? Wow, it was a long gut wrenching ride down. We only did that once.
There’s much more to these places than that and, if you have a family, you will spend a lot worse days than going to any of them. It will hit your hip pocket, sure, but, remember it’s a full day out and you’d have to be pretty hard to please not to have a good day.

It provides the opportunity to experience farm life and outback adventure, has been reconstructed in the serene peaceful hinterland area. People of all ages can enjoy activities which reflect the Australian bush culture including koala cuddling, boomerang throwing and whip cracking demonstrations, sheep dog mustering and stock horse roundup, and billy tea and damper around the camp fire.

Best theme parks (in order of preference)
Movie world – great for everyone including little kids.
Wet n Wild – great rides but have to spend alot of time in lines – but worth it.
Seaworld – good all rounder but getting old – great staff, tell you alot about the animals.
Dreamworld – a bit of dissapointment if you go to all the rest, dreamworld is not worth the money ($60 adult), as it is not included in the 3 park super pass.

Don’t miss the theme parks, there’s something for everyone. My favourite is SeaWorld, because I just love the polar bears.
they have lots of rides, water ski and stunt shows, huge waterslides, educational stuff too.
Perfect for all ages
